Taith: Where the Craft Is Undeniable, Even If the Vibe Knows It
Tucked away with the quiet confidence of a place that doesn't need to shout, Taith carries itself with a certain seriousness that borders on self-aware. The interior is considered and calm β the kind of space that signals immediately that coffee is the point here, not the playlist or the Instagram moment. First impressions suggest a team that has thought carefully about every variable, which is both reassuring and ever so slightly exhausting.
Items Purchased
Flat White β Precise and polished, with a well-integrated espresso that brings a rounded body, low acidity, and a clean, subtly sweet finish. The milk texture was genuinely impressive β silky without being airy β suggesting real technical skill behind the machine.
Iced Latte β Served cold without compromise: the espresso held its character over ice rather than dissolving into blandness, offering a mild cocoa depth and a smooth, lingering sweetness. A more restrained drink, but executed with the same care.
Chocolate Stout Cake β Dense and deeply flavoured, with the stout lending an earthy bitterness that kept the chocolate from tipping into cloying territory. The texture was moist and substantial β this is a cake that earns its place on a specialty coffee menu rather than just occupying it.
A note: I was unable to verify the chocolate stout cake as a confirmed current menu item at Taith, so if this has rotated off, the above reflects what was available at the time of my visit.
